Hi! I'm Allison.
Ever since summer camp, I've been smitten with the trail, but I didn't grow up an endurance athlete. I believe we're all capable of much more than we think we are and that pushing ourselves can reward us with life-changing experiences and expand what we believe we are capable of.
I've hiked since I was a kid, started running in my 30s, and began racing ultramarathons at 36. As much as I love the adrenaline and camaraderie of race day, my true joy is traveling around the world to explore the world on foot.
You can still find me racing anything from a road 10k to a mountainous 50k, but my true mountain calling is adventuring through new places with new people where the goal is joy over speed.
Today I live in Bend, Oregon. You can usually find me on the trail with my pup Rufio, or in the kitchen making sourdough bagels and creating weird ferments, reading, or working my day job as a people consultant.
